President - Laura Stuart MA, NCC, LPC
Laura is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a trauma expert. She has a private practice in Colorado called Aspire Counseling Denver where she uses a combination of therapies to help alleviate symptoms stemming from trauma including; Brainspotting, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and play therapy when working with kids. Laura received her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling from Denver Seminary in 2014 and received her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida in 2008. Laura is passionate about reaching the younger generations and providing effective treatments to prevent suicide and promote healing and thriving.
Vice President-Taylor Davis
Taylor is currently a targeted marketing director for Vitalant. She is highly experienced in Branding, Digital Marketing, Advertising, Market and Consumer Behaviors, Strategic Planning, and Leadership. She received her Master of Advertising from the University of Florida and also received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising from the University of Florida. Taylor is passionate about helping people who have suffered from various traumas, specifically youth.
Treasurer-John Stuart
John has over 30 years of experience in Sales, specifically Software Sales. He received his Master of Science in Computer Science/Education from Nova Southeastern University and received his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education and Health from Florida Southern College. John is passionate about people. He is a connector of people and desires for people to experience love and know their value.
Wesley Ogburn, MSW
Wesley Ogburn is currently the Program Manager at Denver Public Schools. He is highly involved in the prevention of bullying within the school system. Wesley received his Master of Social Work (MSW) in Organizational Leadership and Policy Practice from the University of Denver in 2016. He received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia State University in 2007.
Secretary-Danielle Martin
Danielle Martin currently works as a NeurOptimal® Trainer with Aspire Counseling Denver. She formerly worked as the Development Director for a non-profit in Colorado working with domestic violence victims for over a year. Danielle is very passionate about working with this clientele and people suffering from trauma, in general. Danielle received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services with a concentration of Addiction Studies from Metro State University.
